[POSTED 9:35am PST] Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 5:00 a.m. Pacific, we’ll be closing logins and disabling major inworld services for one hour of upgrade work on our databases.
Residents who are in world will not be disconnected when maintenance begins, but will lose access to services such as
mapping,
teleport,
inventory,
object and L$ transfers, and
LindeX.
We’ll warn in world several minutes before the outage begins, and we’ll post any changes to the scope and schedule of the work here as they develop.
We appreciate that this will inconvenience a number of our Residents. The maintenance work is to enhance the stability and performance of our database-backed services.

[UPDATE 9:30am PST March 9, 2010] - Todays maintenance work has concluded. The balance of the work will be completed on Thursday March 11, 2010 beginning at 8:00am PST.
[POSTED 5 March 2010] We will be performing some required maintenance on March 9th & 11th at 8 a.m. PST on both days. This work should only last an hour each day. This maintenance may disrupt teleporting, transactions, and logins and new registrations. We ask that you please refrain from making any purchases in-world during this time.

[RESOLVED 04 March 2010] All restarts have been completed and the new server version has been deployed. We appreciate your patience.
[Posted 01 March 2010, 4:05pm PST] Hi everyone, another server deploy is upon us! The schedule for the rolling restart is thus:
- 2010-03-02, 7a - 12p: Pilot sims [1] (20%)
- 2010-03-04, 7a - 12p: Remaining sims (80%)
Regions should be down no more than 30 minutes. If yours is down longer than that, please leave a comment with the region name and we’ll look into it. This thread will be updated with the status of the deploy when it begins.

[Resolved @ 2AM PST] Our technicians have resolved this issue. Affected residents should be able to open and take objects back into their inventory.

[RESOLVED - 11:03am] Viewer 2 Log in announcement error has been taken down.
[10:16am PST] We are aware that the Viewer 2 Beta login screen is now indicating that residents are logging into the beta grid, when they are, in fact, actually logging into the Main Grid. This announcement will be taken down later today. All transactions on this grid are live and will be applied to your Linden balance as it would normally. Check back here for any updates.

[Updated 10:27AM PST] The Xstreet maintenance has been completed.
[Updated 8:12AM PST] The maintenance has begun. XStreet will also be down during this time.
[Updated 5:01 am PST] The maintenance is due to commence shortly. Please check back for more information as it becomes available.
[7:38 AM Pacific] On Wednesday from 5am to 7am Pacific there will be downtime to carry out vital maintenance. During this time you will be logged off and unable to log on again for approximately 20 minutes. This will not impact all residents and should you be logged off for more than 20 minutes please contact support for further information.
At 8am approximately xstreet will also be down for an hour to carry out maintenance.
